This multi-talented cat is among the remaining members of NEWS after the Boyband lost half of its founding members between 2006-2010.
Shigeaki plays Guitar like his Bandmates Ryo and Yuya.

It was a cool Blog Segment but somethings must come to an end. For the last month and a half, I introduce to you a fine hunk Yuya Tegoshi of the Boyband NEWS. Strongly describe as the Pink Pure Hearted Prince Yuya has gained more force of fans than ever. I am planning new blog segments for the boyband NEWS in months to come you’ll see. There are no more words to describe a handsome man who is actually 7 months younger than me. (Yipes!)
In all honesty, this cat has a bright future ahead of him.
Yuya has a birthday coming up next month. 11/11/2017 he’ll be the same age as I am the big 3.0!

The time has finally come to enhance our sweetie from Japan by meeting the rest of his Musical Comrades. This is the Boyband from Japan in quote NEWS (North, East, West, South) an acronym of the sides of Japan.
I’m not so sure what makes these boys fall under the Pop Category to me there’s R&B, Nu Disco etc. That’s how I see it honestly these cats could make it big here in the USA if their label does that. Music today is not the way it’s supposed to be and these cats could put the posers to direct SHAME!

A member of the J-Pop Boy Band called NEWS Yuya is also an actor since his much younger days.
There is something to about this boy that charms me into a fearless siren from the sea.

is a member of Japanese boy band NEWS and its subgroup Tegomass, both under Johnny & Associates.
Tegoshi entered Johnny’s Jimusho during December 2002. He participated in various Johnny’s Junior activities for eleven months before becoming a member of NEWS in 2003.
Tegoshi appeared with his band members on Johnny’s related television shows, such as The Shōnen Club and Ya-Ya-yah, soon after he entered the entertainment business. Tegoshi quickly gained popularity with his singing and is considered by many fans to be NEWS’ best singer. In 2005, Tegoshi landed the lead role in the movie Shisso, becoming the first member to star in a movie. Shisso aka Dead Run (International title) premiered in North America at the 2005 New Montreal FilmFest. [1] He gained more acting roles in various Japanese dramas and continued his activities as a member of NEWS. He also hosted his own radio show, called “Tegoshi Yuya’s What a Wonderful Music” from April 2005 to March 2006.
During NEWS’s hiatus in 2006, he and bandmate Takahisa Masuda formed the duo Tegomass. They released the single “Miso Soup”, recorded entirely in English, in Sweden that reached No.12 on the Swedish charts. [2] In December 2006, they released the Japanese version of “Miso Soup” in Japan, which reached #1 on the Oricon charts. Even after NEWS’ reformation at the end of 2006, Tegomass continued to have activities. In the spring of 2007, Tegomass released the single “Kiss (Kaerimichi no Love Song)” (キッス~帰り道のラブソング~), which was the theme song for the anime Lovely Complex and debuted at #2 on the Oricon charts. Both “Miso Soup” and “Kiss (Kaerimichi no Love Song)” went on to place #58 and #46 respectively on Oricon’s Top 100 singles of 2007.[3] Tegomass also represented the Japanese High School Volleyball Tournament with the song called “Marui Chikara” (マルイチカラ).
Tegoshi Yuya debuted in 2007 as a voice actor for the Japanese release of the American animated film Happy Feet as the voice of Mumble. In July 2007, Tegoshi was given the opportunity to perform a one-man-show called Tegoraji. Then he starred in Fuji TV’s drama special called Shabake, as Ichitaro, based on the novel of the same name written by Megumi Hatakenaka (畠中 恵 Hatakenaka Megumi).
In June 2008, Tegomass released their third single “Ai Ai Gasa”, the ending theme song for the anime series Neo Angelique Abyss. “Ai Ai Gasa” debuted at #1 on the Oricon charts[4] and placed No.64 on the Oricon Top 100 Singles of 2008.[5] Tegoshi also reprised his role as Ichitaro, for the sequel of Shabake called Shabake: Uso Uso.[6] At the end of 2008, director Hans Canosa cast Tegoshi as Mirai for the movie Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac, based on the novel of the same name by Gabrielle Zevin.[7] This movie is slated to premiere March 27, 2010 in Japan.
During the summer of 2009, Tegoshi focused most of his energy on Tegomass activities. The duo released their single “Tanabata Matsuri” concurrently in Japan and Sweden on July 7 and released their first album the following week in Japan. They also held their first live concert tour in Japan. After the concert tour ended, Tegoshi took part in the musical comedy Dream Boys 2009 alongside fellow Johnny & Associates members Kazuya Kamenashi and Subaru Shibutani at the Imperial Garden Theater in Marunouchi, Tokyo. This was his first time being featured as a major character in this annual stage show. Not only did Tegoshi appear in the stage play, he also acted in a special drama for FujiTV titled Dareka ga Uso wo Tsuiteiru. He played, Sato Takahiro, a host and the son of a salaryman accused of groping a high school girl on a train.[10][11] Tegoshi also participated on the new variety show called Sōkon.[12] Sōkon is Japan’s’ first running variety show in history and features Tegoshi with fellow NEWS members, Keiichiro Koyama, Shigeaki Kato and Takahisa Masuda. The show is part of Lawson’s green project campaign, where Lawson will plant trees around Japan depending on the number of points the members are awarded as they complete different running missions.[13] At the end of 2009, it was announced that Tegoshi will take on the role of Toyama Yukinojo in the live-action drama adaption Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge based on the manga of the same name. The drama was aired January 15, 2010.[14][15]
On October 15, Tegoshi has been assigned to be the main caster for Toyota Presents FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2012. He will be hosting a new soccer sports show on NTV called “Soccer Earth” and the image song titled “World Quest” by NEWS for their new single.

Good Morning! Black History Month 2016 has been quite astonishing since the very beginning. But for this moment let’s focus on the one who is a force to be reckon with.
Sammy Davis Jr. (1925-1990) an African American Jewish entertainer. Primarily a dancer and singer, he was also an actor of stage and screen, musician, and impressionist, noted for his impersonations of actors, musicians and other celebrities. At the age of three Davis began his career in vaudeville with his father and Will Mastin as the Will Mastin Trio, which toured nationally.
As an only son and the eldest of three children, to Sammy Davis Sr., an African-American entertainer, and Elvera Sanchez, a tap dancer of Afro-Cuban descent. Sammy had two younger sisters. His official status is Afro-Latino but in addition As an African-American, Davis was the victim of racism throughout his life and was a large financial supporter of the Civil Rights movement. Davis had a complex relationship with the African-American community, and drew criticism after physically embracing President Richard M. Nixon in 1972. One day on a golf course with Jack Benny, he was asked what his handicap was. “Handicap?” he asked. “Talk about handicap — I’m a one-eyed Negro Jew.” This was to become a signature comment, recounted in his autobiography, and in countless articles
Davis admitted that he was uneducated and never went to school and he didn’t learn to read or write once he enrolled in the US Army.
During service in WWII, the Army assigned Davis to an integrated entertainment Special Services unit and he found that the spotlight lessened the prejudice. Even prejudiced white men admired and respected his performances. “My talent was the weapon, the power, the way for me to fight. It was the one way I might hope to affect a man’s thinking,” he said in an interview.
When Davis served in the United States Army during World War II, however, he was confronted by strong racial prejudice. He later said, “Overnight the world looked different. Davis nearly died in an automobile accident on November 19, 1954, in San Bernardino, California, as he was making a return trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. In 1953, he had struck up a friendship with comedian and host Eddie Cantor, who gave him a mezuzah. Instead of putting it by his door, as a traditional blessing, Davis would wear it around his neck as a good luck charm. The only time he forgot it, one night in 1954, he crashed his car on the way to a gig in California
Davis lost his left eye to the bullet-shaped horn button (a standard 1954-55 Cadillac feature) as a result. His friend, actor Jeff Chandler, said he would give one of his own eyes if it would keep Davis from total blindness. Davis wore an eye patch for at least six months following the accident. He was featured with the patch on the cover of his debut album and appeared on What’s My Line? Wearing the patch. Later, he was fitted for a glass eye, which he wore for the rest of his life. Sammy paved the way for many acts today for his incredible multi-talent abilities. 
Davis succumbs to Throat Cancer and passed away in Beverly Hills, California, on May 16, 1990 at age 64.
From straight, small curl flip on the right side to hair cut trim to small afro. Sammy did it all joining the ranks of best hairstyle for the boys. In addition the straight hair from the 1950s to the 1960s Sammy was among the pioneers in the African American Community to help popularize the style along with fellow singers and groups after him.
